CHEWORE SOUTH
WILD, REMOTE & UNSPOILT…A BIG GAME HUNT PARADISE!
Situated in the Zambezi Valley in Northern Zimbabwe, bordered to the west by Mana Pools National Park and Sapi Safari Area, to the east and south by Dande and Doma safari areas, for clients wanting real Africa, Chewore is the place to be, sustainable hunting quota’s and top rate professional hunts all of whom the vegetation varies from “Jesse bush”, which is dense and thick, Mopani woodland, riverine and open grasslands.
There are several rivers and springs that provides water for the game. Chewore south is also where the Syntarsus Rhodesiensis – Dinosaur Tracks can be found, together with a few other Dinosaur footprints, dating back to approximately 145 – 170 million years ago.
Temperatures vary depending on the season. Summer commences around August/September and continues through until March/April. The winter months are generally warm during the day and cold during the evening, night and early morning. This is both a Tsetse fly and a Malaria area, so if you plan on hunting with us, please consult with your Doctor prior to you travel with regard to prophylactics and treatment.
